    The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust was selected as just one of a handful of healthcare organisations nationally to receive a prestigious visit from Kate Granger. Kate creator and champion of the "Hello my Name is" campaign has worked in elderly medicine in Yorkshire as a consultant and registrar and has terminal cancer. Kate began and spearheaded the "hello my name is" campaign after she noticed some doctors, nurses and support staff delivering her care failed to introduce themselves - a simple action that makes a massive difference to the experience patients have.

    A new website has been launched which will help young people deal with emotional health and well being issues. "My Mind Matters" website offers advice and guidance to young people, their parents and carers and those who work with young people on emotional health and well being issues.
    The website has been set up by Rotherham Council and NHS Rotherham Clinical Commissioning Group with help from young people, will help the borough's younger residents and their families access information, advice and support, on emotional health and well being issues.

    From the 6th July 2017, the Walk In Centre Service at Rotherham Community Health Centre will no longer be provided. The Walk-In Centre Team will join the Emergency Department at the new Urgent and Emergency Care Centre at
    Rotherham Hospital.
