New website launched to help mental health issues

A new website has been launched which will help young people deal with emotional health and well being issues. "My Mind Matters" website offers advice and guidance to young people, their parents and carers and those who work with young people on emotional health and well being issues.
The website has been set up by Rotherham Council and NHS Rotherham Clinical Commissioning Group with help from young people, will help the borough's younger residents and their families access information, advice and support, on emotional health and well being issues.

The website was launched at an event at My Place on Wednesday 8th July 2015, where young people, parents and carers and those who work with young people were invited to view the website, give feedback and engage with the team who put it together. Feedback on the website can still be provided through the feedback page and work will continue to keep the information on the site up to date.

The mental health of Rotherham's young people has always been of vital importance to all the agencies in the town and I firmly believe that emotional well being is crucial to resilience, self-confidence and self belief. This website allows us to have a one-stop-shop which is both easy to use, comprehensive and provides help and information to young people.
