Be Cancer Safe Rotherham and Barnsley is a highly successful social movement who are currently funded jointly by Rotherham and Barnsley CCG.
More people in South Yorkshire are diagnosed with cancer than the England average, and people living in the most deprived parts of Rotherham are more likely to be diagnosed with cancer at a late stage and die of cancer.
Diagnosis is more likely to be made during an emergency admission and not through a screening. Be Cancer Safe want to change this but need your help!
