Every year the Healthwatch Network Awards celebrate the many positive stories of how the local Healthwatch network is helping to make care better for thousands of people, and recognise how peoples feedback is vital to improving services. The awards are an opportunity to demonstrate where local Healthwatch have worked in the local community to make sure health and social care services meet peoples needs.

Working with our local partners and under the co-ordination of Healthwatch Doncaster we facilitated focus groups, spoke with residents and produced a local survey. The campaign saw over 1,300 responses and a 38 page report was produced and presented to South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw ICS in July, recieving a fantastic response.

The recognition from Healthwatch England is a testament to the hard work and collaboration of local Healthwatchs and stakeholders, coming together to capture the passionate opinions of people in the region on the NHS Long Term Plan.
