    On Friday the 7th October 2013, Healthwatch Rotherham held an Older Peoples Summit at The New York Stadium.
    This was the second of three events held in the town during Older Peoples Month.

    During early 2014 Healthwatch Rotherham received concerns from parents regarding the
    CAMHS. We worked with these families to capture the views of local people on the culture of the
    service.

    We carried out this report to enable commissioners to develop an outcomes framework for the Adult Mental Health Older Peoples
    Liaison Service.

    The NHS states that patients have a legal right to register at whichever GP practice they choose. GP practices must accept any patients who wish to register with them unless they have reasonable grounds to refuse registration.

    During December 2019, representatives from Healthwatch Rotherham attended the Urgent and Emergency Care Centre at Rotherham General Hospital to speak with residents about their reasons for attending.

    Loneliness and obesity are two major public health issues influencing the residents in Rotherham, both have an impact on the mental health of the affected individuals, which has been particularly highlighted during the Covid-19 pandemic.

    During February 2021 we undertook a survey to find out what residents think of the Covid-19 vaccine in Rotherham.
    We had over 330 responses from residents of aged 13 years upwards.

    This report showcases myth-busting Zoom sessions we ran in partnership with HARP (Health Access for Refugees Programme) and British Red Cross on the Covid-19 vaccine for asylum seekers and refugees.
