During March 2025, we spoke to 101 people about their experiences of health and social care services in Rotherham. This was through a combination of in-person engagement and enquiries. You can see the feedback we heard below:

Today we start our 2025 to 2026 work plan. Take a look at our priorities for the coming year.

Between April 2024 and March 2025, we have attended 12 student events, engaging with 445 young people across Rotherham to find out what matters to them, what challenges they face and to identify what services can do to help support them with their wellbeing.

On Monday 10th March, Gary Barnes from Rotherham Healthwave joined the Parkinson’s support group to talk to them all about healthy eating and lifestyles. The group was well attended and Gary was able to speak to 34 people about Rotherham Healthwave and the services they provide.

Our Strategic Advisory Board meets every month to steer the strategic direction of Healthwatch Rotherham, ensuring that our vision, aims and values are upheld. The Strategic Advisory Board helps to deliver an effective Healthwatch service in line with current legislation.
