Our second 'Enter and View' inspection took place at Ashton Court Care Home on Friday 24th March 2023. We would like to thank Ashton Court for allowing us into their care home and letting us complete the inspection.

Our March 'Let's Talk' event focused on Cervical Cancer. We had 5 attendees. Sadly, our guest speaker Sally Abbott was unavailable to present, but she kindly sent us some slides regarding Cervical Cancer that you can view below

Our latest report is now available to read, discussing the issues those with English as an additional language experience when trying to access primary care services (mainly GP's) in Rotherham.

On Thursday 9th February 2023 a member of staff and a volunteer from Healthwatch Rotherham attended an announced visit of Athorpe Lodge. We spoke to staff, residents, family and friends and you can view the results of our inspection below

Our Community Engagement Officer has been out in the Rotherham community over the past 2 weeks to gather their opinions and experiences of services in Rotherham

Our February Let's Talk event focused on eating disorders and had 7 attendees with a mixture of the public and professionals.

Our second in-person Let's Talk event took place at Silverwood Miners Welfare Resource Centre to a group of 35 attendees from the Military Community Veterans Centre (MCVC).
The topic chosen by the group was Dementia.

On the 30th January 2023 we held our first in-person Let's Talk event at Brentwood Hotel, Rotherham. Our first event discussed diabetes and was attended by 20 people.

Our first Let’s Talk of 2023 focused on the menopause.
