Local Healthwatch have been set up in every local authority area in England by the Health and Social Care Act 2012. This sets out the statutory duties of each Healthwatch, which you can read more about here.

We want to gain a better understanding of how reliable and accessible public transport is for people across South Yorkshire who need to use it to get to and from health appointments, as well as the issues facing other transport users.

We are gathering this information to help us with our research so that we can campaign for transport reform.
