On Thursday 19th June, we were part of Let's Talk "Preparation for Adulthood" event at The Willows School in Thurcroft.
Through networking over the last couple of years, we were able to signpost the school to some services that provide our Rotherham people with some excellent support and information.

The “choice gap”: do patients get the choices they want from GP care?

Our new research shows how important choice is to people when it comes to their care, and makes recommendations to help ensure they get those choices.
What choices do patients want when they book GP appointments? And are they getting those choices?

Our latest research aims to answer these questions. Our nationally representative polling and interviews with people who have used GP services show how much they value choice in their care. But it also shows evidence of a “choice gap”, where people are not always getting the choices they want and may even be entitled to.
