The aim of this policy is to protect both the organisation and the individuals concerned from any appearance of impropriety.

During December 2024, we spoke to 37 people about their experiences of health and social care services in Rotherham. This was through a combination of in-person engagement and enquiries. You can see the feedback we heard below:

On Friday 8th November 2024, two trained representatives from Healthwatch Rotherham visited Woodstock Bower Surgery to carry out an Enter and View visit.

The purpose of the visit was to:
● collect the views from patients, families, volunteers and staff on services
● observe how the facility operates and provides its services
● identify ‘Best Practice’ and highlight any areas of concern

We spoke to staff and patients and you can find out about our observations, survey results and recommendations in our report below.

During October 2024, we spoke to 73 people about their experiences of health and social care services in Rotherham. This was through a combination of in-person engagement and enquiries. You can see the feedback we heard below:

Earlier this year we carried out a survey asking autistic people and people with learning disabilities in Rotherham to tell us about their health care experiences. We wanted to find out what was working well and what needed to be made better. This is our report.

Following on from our successful talks in January, we were invited back to Rotherham College this month to deliver another Let’s talk on Stoptober. This time the talk was delivered by Andrea on her own, but we took it on tour to Dearne Valley College as well!
