Rotherham Friendship Lunches and Songs to Remember Launch

Home Instead Senior Care in Rotherham are launching a Friendship Lunches on Monday 21st May 2018 from 12 noon at Sir Jacks in Bramley. Its accessible with good parking. Primarily, the focus is to help tackle loneliness in the community and we aim to arrange a programme of further events. It is open to all. We want to work collaboratively with local organisations and individuals to address important issues affecting our communities, to invite them to participate and to have a part to play in our future events if they wish.

The events might especially interest people with loneliness due to long term conditions such as Dementia/Parkinsons etc although it is not directly aimed at them. As we know not everyone accepts a diagnosis or want to go to a more labelled/health specific type event. So there are some potential for filling the gaps here. Loneliness is very inclusive and therefore we are being inclusive too.

The launch event is to be attended by the new Mayor on 21st May 2018 and booking information can be obtained by contacting
